What would Massa do if Trulli decides to go for it in the first corner? He has nothing to lose.

I really doubt it. .5 Really is a lot and won't come falling out of the sky all of a sudden.
The gap has never been that big all weekend. Ferrari need to do something special and this was the most sensible thing to do.
Expect Raikkonen to hold up Hamilton and Massa to try and build a gap.
If Trulli jumps Massa and he is unable to overtake immediately, this tactic can be thrown out of the window.
The start is the key factor tomorrow. Hamilton must get through without damage.

Felipe just is great at this track, if it's dry tomorrow he will pull away quickly so no problem with whatever fuelload he carries.

I don't think Trulli will hold anyone up particularly although Massa will likely develop a good lead on his own. Hamilton should just go for it but not do anything stupid. Nothing wrong with trying to overtake people.

Ideal for Ferrari - allow Trulli into second for Kimi in 3rd to play an additional part of the train's engine to keep Hammo open to attack from behind.

Lewis seems really happy.
Massa I think is couple of laps lighter then Kimi+Hamilton. First corner should be interesting, Alonso will start right behind Kimi on the clean side. I hope he can pass Hamilton.
Kimi seems very happy to be in 3rd, so Im certain he is heavier then Massa.
Trulli was just great, to bad he tends to fade away in race.
Feel bad for piquet, he should've made it into q3.

Trulli 2nd and super quick, Glock 10th and super slow - after being matched in Q1 and Q2. Clearly some radical fuel loads have been going on, and we'll only understand where exactly Toyota stands tomorrow.

Quite a gamble actually, one of them could win the race if something happens.

Kimi will pass Trulli into T1, and hopefully Alonso will pass Hamilton. Then the race is set, will Hamilton settle just for points? Or is he willing to throw it all away defending his position to turn 1?

Isn't Hamilton 4, KOVA 5th and Alonso 6th?
Why do you say that Alonso is behind Kimi (3rd)? Alonso is behind HAM.

we have 4 ferrari engines in the top 10 plus alonso right up the rear of lewis, exactly the perfect spot for a very unfortunate accident

Me im pretty confident for tomorrow

Massa clumsy at Silverstone and a big error for hamilton in canada. So it could be anybody's. Unfortunately I believe this is massa's race, but not won on the track but in the court room again. :\

Alonso is 5th on the grid, hence on the CLEAN side, directly behind the wing of Kimi (3rd). Hamilton is ahead of Alonso on the grid, but he is on the dirty side. Alonso has a great opportunity to pass LH into turn 1. Like Kimi said, he would rather be third here since it is on the clean side.

Alonso is 6th on the grid on the dirty side....
Hamilton is going to find himself racing with Alonso at the start tomorrow just like last year. That first corner there is chaos.. Kova is going to freak out, make a mistake, and crash against him...
Congratulations to Felipe on his third consecutive pole in interlagos...with JPM gone, he is now officially the brazilian gp master..

Kova is 5th and he is only 2 points behind him in the championship, I doubt that Kove will let Alonso get through that easily.

Could be very intresting especially if massa is 5-6 laps lighter!!!

Massa never lost a position at the start in 2008 and I doubt it will happen tomorrow.
Trulli should watch out for Raikkonen instead.

This is not only unsportsmanlike, its in breach with this boards rules.
I think most people here are just having some god natured banter about the posisbility alonso might retaliate for 2007. Try and get over it.
My calculations for pit stops predict laps:
Massa 13
Jarno 14
Fernando 16
Kimi 16-17
Lewis 18
Heikki 19
Vettel 20
Others are not really predictable. That's for dry race only. Doesn't look like dry race though.

If Lewis wins the championship, he will be the youngest champion right? He would break the Alonso record right? Alonso might not like that idea... :\

There is alot more than just fuel lots that we need to take into account for tomorrow. I am sure some drivers have setup oriented towards wet for the race. Just like they had in Monza, remember?
Also Massa must be either very light or on fully dry setup, but if that was the case he would be much faster in q1 and q2. So i gues he is just light, he sure must hope there is no safety car in lap 10 or so.
I would love to see mix weather conditions tomorrow.

Amazingly tight but it´s obviously a short track so that too is bringing down the gaps. As ever it´s hard to say too much about Q3 - other than that as usual Massa looked majestic -but Glock was great in Q2, as was Vettel. A so-so last qualifying for DC but he´s suffered from heavy graining all day, as has Kubica but he´s had other issues as well.
Those extra laps of fuel which I´m sure Hamilton has on Massa may be very, very important tomorrow, with the rain-risk, hence also an increasing chance of a SC-period.

There's plenty of run-offs at Interlagos so Hammy should be fine if somebody unfortunately punts him off, will he then do a kneel and cry ala Hakkinen at Monza 1999 or stay cool?

That seems fairly reasonable, except for Massa's fuel load. Surely he wouldn't be that light given the forecast for tomorrow
