Never been to one but pulling seems to show up on SpeedTV every once in a while and I'm usually bored enough to watch. It's certainly a step up from monster trucks.

Years ago in Cumming, GA (yes, there really is a town in eorgia by that name) they used to have a number of guys bring out steam tractors every 4th of July. I believe they also display and run them at the fair they hold every year. Neat stuff.

Wow!! Now if there was a class for T20's I'd be set fair...

I watched the tractor pulling at the Great Dorset Steam Fair and the best pull by a mile was the night time pull of a Steam Traction Engine with all the clinker flying up in the night sky and even a wheelie at the end of the pull. Brilliant!!!

I (and many others) attended this meeting in preference to the LMS race the day before the Daytona 500:

A couple of the Oulton Park club meetings had Tractor Pulling during the lunch break. Very Impressive especially the multi-engined vehicles.

Been to a couple, both indoors, ages ago; some serious decibels were generated, well beyond the threshold of pain.
