Hi Guys,

I have just booked my tickets for the Spanish GP in May, I see its fairly surrounded are there any good camping sites near by? im not too worried about being 15km away as im going on my motorbike, so traffic shouldnt be to much problem! biggrin.gif

Hi jimjimjeroo,

From what I remember, there is at least one campsite opposite the main entrance to the circuit. Also, have a look on the circuit's official website, further down the page it has a useful section on campsites:

There's loads of old threads on the Barcelona GP which might offer additional information, just do a search using the Search button at the top right of your screen.

Have a great time.

The couple of time I've been to the spanish GP we've stayed at El vedado Campsite link Vallromanes 15 or so mins from the circuit nice little bar serving food good eateries just down the road too. Just make sure you take extra care with you gear wherever you end up pitching as last time we went we got turned over by some other campers on Saturday night whilst we were sleeping.

The Circuit site is a pretty rough and ready affair unless it's been developed in the last few years, I'd give it a wide berth.
