Thank you Gentlemen, so much information; so quickly! In the late forties BBL 81 was owned by John Sarginson who was step father to my friend, his mother used to hill climb it. By then it had become green..

BBL 81 survives to this day! If you look at the MGCC web-site & look for the T Register page, there'll be a contact. I'm sure the current owner would be glad to hear from you, especially if you have other photos/history etc.
