For the last couple of weeks when loading a news story, the page loads as it should then quickly turns to simple text - arial i think - while the menu goes very large when it should be a small strip.

i hadn't changed any of my settings when it started doing this and have been using the same browser all the time - firefox. i upgraded it yesterday but it still does the same. i don't get any issues with other sites nor with autosports frontpage. at work tho, using ie7, everything is fine.

its been happening for so long - 2 weeks maybe a bit more - i'm now thinking it must be me not you. but can you advise on what i can do to make it look proper? can provide screencaps if needed.

thank you bira! formatting is back, think its a different font to normal tho - prob still me, or may just be you seeing that the masthead just changed between asking and now.

its nice, i like it. didn't know it needed changing, but its a good freshener - i guess it means the mag will change too tomorrow...

You want the middle A in the three font sizes for normal article font. We haven't changed that with the new look, but there are some tweaks to the styles here and there.

This is a long-standing issue, which is being sorted very soon.

The new look mag is in the shops in the morning and you can have a flick through the content on the homepage right now.

while i have your attention, i've always wondered why you don't make the images links - those on the homepage to stories, those in stories to the bigger versions in galleries. be grateful to know. i'm sure there's a good reason tho, but i'd love a link to bigger pictures, even if its text. may be that happens for subscribers, can't remember, but it'd be useful for nons too, even though images aren't that huge for them

Currently the gallery and news pics are two very different and seperate systems, with no real link between them. However, we have a lot of big development plans for the coming months so I'll bear your suggestion in mind when we get to that area.
