Ah yes.
Hmm... well that makes for bad reading. I swapped my all Red Bull line up to include Raikkonen, Hamilton along with Ferrari chassis and Mercedes engine. Admittedly scored more than I would have done otherwise, but if only Hamilton hadn't binned it on the last lap I would have scored more than 137 points this weekend.

Both Team Plymouth and les chats noir will be giving Mr Hamilton a severe reprimand, and requesting Mr Whitmarsh finds a new number two to push his chassis and engine forward in races - as well as qualifying.
Tachyos joins in on the reprimand thing there! Those lost points cost alot!
Luckily Brawn delivered a good engine score.
With only 4 races left it looks almost over for Tachyos to hope for the win, the gap is maybe too big now. The only chance left is if the grid stays tight at the top with FI, McL, Ferr, Brawn and possibly RB all with opportunities to win, and then manage to buy the right thing each race while others mess up.

Team Plymouth would indeed like to join in on the reprimand, the best now that team could hope for is a fight with Tachyos for the top 5 placing. The silver lining is the 87 million euro bank balance that should fund any 'driver development' needed.

fairly promising start to proceedings. 1st and 2nd, with one part of the engines and chassis down in 9th on the grid.
hoping marillionf1 have maintained a strong brawn presence in their lineup and have not switched to a strong red bull presence.
75 points and counting

Team Plymouth may have a very similar lineup so will unfortunately not be able to catch up many points to le chats noir;)

78 pts from qualy.
Hamilton was given another chance after that Monza spin, and with this pole all is forgotten now!
As Will points out, it might prove hard to close the points gap significantly this GP, unfortunately.

Indeed, I was debating whether to go all McLaren but thought Kovalainen would be too risky and so it proved....was expecting him to at least beat Webber though
A decent point haul of 223 points from Hamilton/Vettel/McLaren/Mercedes catapults Team Plymouth back into the top 5, inching back slightly on Tachyos though with only 3 races to go and little difference between the top few teams, further gains will be difficult. On the plus side a healthy balance of in excess of 80 million euros will help cover any last-minute team changes required as the championship reaches its conclusion.

No change in the Atlas league annoyingly. Small extension to third though. But up to 15th in the Overall, 200 points to the leader. Frustrating to have 4th in the Overall in Atlas, but they will be overcome. 30 points a race is doable. Unlikely, but doable. Immensely frustrating to have had Hamilton crash in Monza (a loss of 70 points to the leader there) and somewhat not to have had Fisi in the car for fun, while travelling with Kingfisher to Spa. That would have been tremendously useful - an additional 67 points or something.
Just a week til the next round. Jenson could win the WDC there, wonder if it would affect his driving in Brazil and UAE? Also, contracts will be announced soon which could have an affect. A fight to the finish anyway - specially for 3rd here.

212 points is a decent result for Tachyos. Could've been more had Vettel taken the 2nd place it looked like he would.
Still, dropped some points compared to those who scored 223 at the top.

Tachyos seems to have bagged 186 pts from Japan (if the manager's mathematical skills are good...)
Eagerly awaiting the updated Atlas F1 BB league standings!
I started the year in P48 and have now marched on to P9.
I'm placing le chat noir and the rest of you on notice
Once again I had to make up my mind after FP2, and it paid off beautifully!
Otherwise I would've never taken Red Bull chassis and engine.
Cheers!

Carrying over the same team from Singapore, it paid off healthily for Team Scotracer. With 186 points, the young Scottish outfit takes 2nd place in the AtlasF1 BB league and up to 26th overall in the world.

Well well! Tachyos did well compared to the rest, and with our dear le chat noir doing a very welcome mess up ;), it has now turned into an exiting battle for 2nd in the Atlas league!
Marillion, though, seems out of reach now...

Took back that position pretty sharpish. Well done Marillion - just 9 points off the overall league win, having been well down in the 1400s after Melbourne. Not a bad team to lose the Atlas league to, methinks. Frustrating mind. Hope to break back into the top 20 of the overall league in Abu Dhabi. And just need to protect those 49 points to 3rd in Atlas. A good year. Am already curious to know what next year's prices will be! And look forward to more stringent competition - Tachyos!
After a few iffy races, Team Dank have had a fantastic result this weekend at Interlagos, scoring 200 points and now find themselves in 11th position. The top ten beckons!
Team Plymouth was very happy with a good set of 200 points to reclaim 5th in the standings and pass Tachyos again- and is glad to be still technically in contention for 2nd position, though realistically the battle in Abu Dhabi will be for for 4th position. With 85 million euros in the bank built up over a successful season with prudent spending (and a couple of missed windows for changing teams due to holidays!) the team should be able to give its staff good financial reward for its efforts, although would have preferred if the money left over at the season could have been exchanged for extra points!

Very sad faces in Tachyos' motorhome this evening after that dismal performance...
Tachyos took a costly high risk gamble in order to secure 2nd in the league, and possibly challenge Marillion, by signing Rosberg and Button for Brazil.
It obviously didn't pay off...
Tachyos is still in the fight for 2nd, but it's a very long shot. It will require yet another gamble (and likely even more humiliation ;))

woah 38 posts and in the Atlas league. I do declare we should impose a minimum of 50 posts for entry to this championship! ;)
Still, one race to go. Final choices made. I have Lewis Button and all Brawn as the final lineup. A good year. Rueing going all Brawn at Japan, Hamilton crashing at Monza, and not taking Fisichella (had KR) for Spa, when I was travelling to the race as a guest of Force India.
2010 will, I think, be much harder to call from the start of the season, and the prices should be much tougher, but overall I think it will be Hamilton's year again, fending off Alonso with a race to go. Alonso's loss will be percieved as due to a poor car at the start of the year - though he'll have thrown it off the road by pushing too hard in the mid-points. But perhaps Barrichello in the Williams would be a good initial purchase, Sutil in the Force India and Renault parts. We'll see.
Good luck in the last. Let us know what you're running now there's nothing to lose.

Sorry, you won't jump me this time (maybe someone else will) since I also have jense + lewis and 2 brawns, which seems like mistake this time, it was last sec change as I planned lew + vet and double redbull ;)
I expect massive drop in overall standings, however it's been loads of fun, thanks guys!

Team Plymouth Press Release
Team Plymouth was very disappointed with Kovalainen's transmission failure, resulting in the team dropping 9 points in qualifying to the Brawn chassised teams through its all McLaren line up chassis and engine wise and Lewis and Jenson as drivers.
Unfortunately with the gearbox penalty to come more points may be dropped in the race as well....the only hope is to try and keep on the top 5 position, certainly in no position to make any gains.

Here is Team Zauber hoping to catch all of you at the last race, and what happens, you steal my picks...
We need Max to investigate this cheating. I hear le chat noir runs a copy shop.
Damnation!
Team Dank have slipped a place to end the season in 12th after a last minute switch from Mark Webber to Lewis Hamilton and Renault RBR engine to McLaren Mercedes-Benz miserably back fired with Hamilton having to retire early on in the race and team mate Kovalainen having a muted weekend. Vettel romped home to his fourth successive victory of the season, partnered with the RBR chassis to score a so-so 181 points this weekend - 2775 overall.

Well done to everyone who took part.
This was the podium for 2009:
1. Marillion F1
2. les chats noir
3. ScotracerI want my trophy
After our not-so-optimal line up I was expecting a big drop, I hoped to stay in top 5, so it was quite shocking!
Thanks for the tip les chats as I was refreshing undermaintanace.htm like an idiot and waiting for the results

Congrats to everyone, I already start missing those emotions.
If not for the game it would be quite boring season as BMW was less than stellar this year ;)

CONGRATULATIONS Marillion F1 - 2009 Atlas F1 BB Champion!
You've had a brilliant season, being at the top from race 1! A well deserved victory!
Congratulations also to les chats noir and Team Scotracer for your 2nd and 3rd places! You've been fierce competitors, as always, bringing much excitement to the championship!
Tachyos finished 4th overall, but will be back in 2010 aiming for the WIN!
Thanks all for a great and entertaining season

11th place for me, not bad on my debut season!
And out of over 34,000 players I was ranked in a 290!! So massive congrats to all those who finished ahead of me as you'll be even higher up the rankings which is a great achievement to crack the top 300 out of so many players!
