- On the first day of practice, drivers must attend a pit lane autograph session
- All drivers eliminated from qualifying must be immediately available for interviews
- Any race retirees must be available for interviews on their return to the paddock
- Drivers finishing outside the top three must be available for interviews after the race

I saw this & wondered how it will work. They couldn't allow all spectators in the pit lane ... could they?

probably only for those with VIP pit walk thru passes.
Usually regular fans have zero access to drivers. I've been to several gps CDN,US,GB over the years and never seen a driver outside of the car.
But we'll see.....

Both the Williams & Toyota Teams have driver appearances on their merchandise stalls but unless you go early you can't even get close.

McLaren had Heikki on their stand at Silverstone last year, about 2 hours after he grabbed the pole.

Red Bull had DC on theirs.
