The 8UG bets somehow sank into the deep sea during the season but I suddenly remembered that there were some season's guesses made here that could be checked!


These were the right answers I think:

asterix, dnbn, Frogman, D82, Alapan, skylark68, Nads.Dams, garth b and italiansdoitbetter finished at 0.

Some other facts:

The first question “Who will be the first of the 20 announced drivers not to be on the grid of a GP?” was answered by no less than 13 participants with "all will start every race". How wrong we were
Nobody named Massa but 3 participants named Bourdais.
Nelson Piquet jr. was chosen 4 times as the earliest driver to be substituted. He was replaced just 1 GP later.

Nobody guessed the right answer to question 2 but honourable mentions should be made to Asterix who thought Vettel would finish 4th and d82, Alapan and garth b who thought that he would end 5th. OTOH Estwald, Makarias thought he would finish 12th in the final standings.

No less than 11 people had the right answer to to question 4 (Australia), while Monaco was mentioned 10 times.

Nobody had question 6 right, but Frogman and Skylark68 came very close with 76-80!
Most of the other guesses were way off.

Nobody had question 7 right either.
Most of us had N.Piquet jr. who finished 12 places behind Alonso, while not competing the entire season.

And finally question 8: Nobody guessed it should be Nico!
Most of us chose Nick Heidfeld who –as we know- was torpedoed by Adrian Sutil at the Singapore GP.
