How do you go about editing your profile to add favorite driver/ team?
Always used to be Schumi and DC ....but they got lost in the move, and now thinking that I should be more vocal in supporting Brawn and Button.

If you click My Controls in the links at the top of the page, you will see various tools.

In the menu on the left, about half way down:

Personal Profile
> Edit Profile Information

After clicking on that it should be fairly self-explanatory.

It sounds very pretentious but I'm sure I'll be told otherwise

I think the personal statement is whatever you want it to be (within the bounds of the forum rules) but is only seen when people visit your profile page.

More as an afterthought ...the little set of stars that are 'deemed' to rate you as a poster...are you able to find out who has rated you, or is it totally anonymous?

For the stalker that only gave me 4 stars

I haven't found a way of seeing who has rated who yet. That is probably stored somewhere in the database though.

Actually, it doesn't really bother me much apart from now I seem to do a bit of navel gazing at my own profile in case someone has done something to it.
I'd prefer it if the rating system was switched off ( as in the TNF forum )...or there was an option to be removed from it...it's just a general unease that posters are checking you out, when you don't do it to them.

That would have been me upping it back to 4 while I was trying to see if there was a list somewhere.
