Hello everyone I am looking for information regarding the Trojan T101. I have surfed the net and think I have found as much as I can find. I have also had the kind help of Jerry Entin.

But there are still some info for which I continue to search. I am looking for photos or illustrations, contacts to learn more about the following areas of this interesting F5000 car.

Lower front suspension, lower front suspension pickup points and monocoque area.
Monocoque behind the seat and monocoque engine mounting.

Foot pedal area and cockpit without the cowling.

If anyone has any information, photos, contacts that they are willing to share, I would be most grateful. I am scoping a one-off modeling project.

Thanks in advance.

Well, there's a really nice Tony Matthews cutaway on the cutaways thread, and several very good photos on TNF'er Remi Humbert's excellent www.gurneyflap.com site.

Tony's drawing is of a T102 although I'm sure they are pretty similar.

Simon Hadfield has raced a T101 this year. Is it the same Simon Hadfield that has posted here in the past?

The Trojan T101 and T102 are very different, unfortunately. The T101 was based on the McLaren M21 F2 car, but the T102 was an F5000 version of the F1 car that Ron Tauranac designed. That car was a bit of a Ralt RT1 in waiting...

The Simon Hadfield who races a T101 is indeed the same guy who posts here occaisionally. His car had a massive accident at Oulton last year (whilst somebody else was driving), but I think it has been restored to its former glory. I'm sure, if you asked nicely, you could have a close look at it.
Simon Hadfield
Yes it is that Simon Hadfield, and I have e-mailed Stephen so hopefully he can get to see the Trojan fairly shortly. The massive accident at Oulton Park last year was actually not quite as bad as it looked ( mind you I only saw the photos on Flickr about a month ago!) but it gave us the chance to address some of the nigglely issues that crop up when you run a car for several seasons.

Oooops!

My bad, gentlemen - Tony's drawing is indeed the T102. However, there are some T101 photos on Gurneyflap.

Thanks to all that have replied so far. Yes I have seen the Gurney flap T101 fotos, but they still leave the areas I have mentioned a mystery.
