In the early 70 s at Snetterton there were a few regulars who raced Formula Ford nearly every meeting here are 3 i remember one of which i think is still involved in racing but what do you know of theses.?

John Day
John was a regular with an old Lotus 51 for several seasons allways a top 6 contender with this early car , he was knicknamed by the commentator as John 'Hairdryer 'Day due to the very large black air intake the car had , which i often mistook for a raised hand .
I never remember him racing anything but the Lotus anyone know different?

Martin Watson
Started out with an Alexis mk 14 /15 ? was another front runner , and then i remember he went with Formula Atlantic with a GRD ?
What happened to him ?

Glenn Eagling
Another Formula Ford racer allways competative , he moved on to become one of the stars of Clubmans racing a very talented driver .
the last i heard he was running his son ?. in a junior formula .

So what do you know of thier careers, cars and thier abilities .?

Pete
Andrew Kitson
I remember all three Pete - Dan Eagling still has a go now and then in classic clubmans I think when time allows..last I heard he was working as a mechanic for David Sears at Supernova GP2 team.
