Well done Kyle. Nice finish for Ambrose. Shocking for JPM, 25th while most of the chasers finished in the top 12. Scott Speed in 15th. Decent finish for him.

well a couple more like that should finish off the season just about right for the 42 team
Solid perforance in Atlanta & Richmond should still do it - but the cushion is gone now. JPM could afford one bad race, and that happened today.

Ambrose ran a great race in the most difficult track there is. Kudos to him. Kyle must have taken a maturity pill this weekend.

Marcus needs 'how to speak redneck' lessons. I suggest my old buddy Bill Elliott to get him off on the right foot. later, he can graduate to Dale Jrs class where he'll be a master!

he has had two bad races and no one else to blame but him and his team for both bad results. even if they scrape in to the chase now, they will not be a serious contender for the title by any means.

Interesting live feed to the press conference, do they conduct the podium before the first place getter? Just watched Mark and Marcus
Its now currently looking at a empty press room they seem to be preparing for something.

nascar doesn't do a podium. the winner gets to do burn outs, and a winners circle ceremony - and while that's going on, 2nd and 3rd place get interviewed on pit road, then go do the press room while that is going on.

But since JPM wasn´t the only one having "bad day", it had less impact on Chase situation.

I think so because the winner and team have to get like 50 pictures taken with 50 different hats on.

Speaking of those pictures with hats, what's the deal with that Sprint woman whose job seems to put her pearly whites into every frame? As attractive as she is, she's starting to really annoy me.

i bolded the reason why she's there - to put sprints logo into everything that happens in victory circle. - and no matter how anoying she is, i would still do her in the pooper.

You can follow her on twitter, Anne Marie......
I thought she just turned upto victory lane but following her on twitter shows she does a bit more than that, she always goes to breakfast back at the winner's factory/shop or whatever they call it....
Her predictions before the race on twitter weren't bad - 5, 42, 18

She has been annoying me for years.
Want a recipe for a failed marketing campaign and ultimately a failed company? This is what Sprint thinks people want. Some woman standing in the background smiling like an idiot, like she is part of what is going on and like SHE just won the race, or like she is freaking banging the race winner or winner or something. She drives me absolutely insane. It isn't so much her that bothers me as it is the condescending stupid idiots at Sprint who placed her there. That company will not last.
Ross Stonefeld
Aug 25 2009, 10:39
Well they've outlasted Nextel so far.
She's there not because thats what Sprint thinks it's what we want, but to make sure their logo gets in every victory circle as series sponsor, no matter who else is sponsoring the event and winning team. She's the same as the old Winston Girls.

It better last. I just killed all my Verizon lines and hooked up with them.
I'll claim extenuating circumstances though, Sprint/Nextel are the only ones with a tower
close enough to my remote location to get my laptop to run wireless seamlessly.

LOL. I had Sprint for a while but couldn't stand it and switched over to Verizon for the coverage.
Then I moved here, where my phone doesn't even get reception while I'm inside the house.
