He works in a bank.

Wtf? lol.gif

I guess it's something to keep himself occupied between races, and to have an alternative career in case this racing thing goes wrong...

Smart lad. He'll do well in life.

A ) Piquet did not have tons of miles in F1

B) Piquet is not a farce, look at the tread "Nelson Piquet seems faster now" concerning your
provocative comment on F3 SudAm 2002 and the interdiction of testing. Piquet ( and only Piquet )
was forbidden to test, while his competitors in F3 SudAm were allowed to test !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

C) See the exact quote from Auto, Motor und Sport underneath, it is Fahrernoten GP Europe
Romain Grosjean: Note 5

I fully agree with this comment

Piquet is gone, and to make it even harder to ever come back Romain Grosjean made him look very average indeed. The boy comes straight in and is immediately knocking on the door of Alonso's pace with absolutely no clue about F1, Piquet has been in F1 and testing in F1 for ages.

The only thing he did till now is prove that #2 Renault sucks... and knocking the door of Alonso's is quite a stretch from reality... although I agree that Piquet had far more previous experience... all in all we will be reassured that the car sucks
glorius&victorius
not bad

#2 Renault really sucked in that session. tongue.gif

Shock of shocks, the #2 Renault is exactly the same as the #1 Renault eek.gif But then we already knew that.

Of course now they've probably been instructed by Flavio to artificially make RG look good so that NP can't get another drive.

Scary thing is that I can't tell sarcasm from reality anymore.

Nah , Flav wants to make Alonso look bad , because he will be driving for Ferrari AND Maclaren next season

[ have I been reading too many threads on this Forum ? ]
Alonzo
Grosjean is a Piquet generic roflmao.gif

Grosjean is showing good pace. His last lap was ruined by yellows after he set a green sector 1. He definately looks faster than Piquet.

He definitively does NOT look faster than Piquet, remember Piquet had not the same fast car as Alonso on 4 F1 weekends this year,
yet was faster than Alonso on 2 of them. Yesterday Grosjean was lighter and having the faster tyre, today in qualy he was 19th,
says it all.
BRK
Did he have his flying lap spoiled by the yellows? I thought he'd just scrape through to Q2 if it wasn't for that.
noikeee
Not a good qualy today, but give him time as he's still learning.

He really does, though. Especially being so early in his F1 career.

Anyways, his qualifying was ruined by Badoer's crash.
primer
Grosjean will do okay give him 3-4 races before declaring him to be as bad as Piquet. The Renault was terrible today, even FA (with his six tenth) struggled.

Nelson...is that you?? roflmao.gif roflmao.gif roflmao.gif

Grosjean has showed in 1 race more than Piquet in 1 year and a half.
brabham bt50
A reminder, if Massa had not been injured and racing for Ferrari in Spa,
Grosjean would have been 20th and dead last in starting order GP Belgium 2009.
Music Man
Not necessary, since Massa probably wouldn't spin as Badoer did, and consequently there would be no yellow flags which would ruin Grosjeans fast lap wink.gif
