i'm surprised it isn't a list of top 50 drivers WHO ARE WASTING TAXPAYER'S DOLLARS ON SCANDALOUS AFFAIRS WITH ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS WHILE THE MIDDLE CLASSES GO HUNGRY or something...

I suppose I'll play along- how the hell can Mansell be at 8 ahead of Jack Brabham (just the lazy 3 world titles, including one with a car that he and his wife made in their kitchen) and Mika and Fred and....you get the picture.

Only 50! Are our schools funded so badly that the average Briton (including all those with non-posh accents) cannot count beyond 50. I blame Labour, MMR jab, video games, especially ones with funny looking monsters. Ban this sick filth.
What is the point in doing a list featuring drivers who are still active in F1 or haven't been in there for at least 10 years? Apart from that is all seems reasonable. I'm sure #1 and #2 positions will create some debate. For me I'd have Senna top because, for all Schumacher's success and impact on Ferrari, It is Senna who more than 10 years after his death is still adored and means so much to a sizeable number of f1 supporters.

I'm sorry, but when Hamilton can boast 3 world titles, they can claim him to be better then Jack Brabham. Load of absolute piss.

They both get demoted from the top five for repeated professional fouls.

I was going to put Hamilton second for a laugh
Vettel, yet no Stefan Bellof?
Some good races in the wet, win from pole enough to justify a place on the list?
No Montoya, came close to a championship, one of the best 'racers' in recent years, fought Schumy, Kimi, Alonso and won.
pah, just like every other list its a product of opinion. my list would be different from your list, and his list would be different from her list.

I'm sorry but that really isn't an argument. Schumachers only been retired for 3 years so any comparison with that argument is rather pointless.
I guarantee that in 10 years time Michael will be as adored as Senna is now. The only difference being one is dead and one 'hopefully' is not.

Nigel Mansell 8th on the list, above driver like Lauda, Ascari, Piquet or Alonso: that says it all really! Ridiculous

that german boy with retarded smile plastered all over his face is nowhere near top 200 yet
i mean, if Vettel is getting serious support, he deserves serious critcism too. so it should be reminded that out of his first 5 starts in F1 he could finish just 1 lap.

You are clearly an upper class snob that supports foreigners that brought swine and bird flu to this country and take advantage of the middle classes. Our Noige was and forever will be a hero of the middle classes

I roughly agree with the top 12, but then the list goes south. What about Massa not in the top 40 for example, given that he's got a great car for only three years, and still managed to win 11 races (and lost several others through no fault of his own). And Vettel in top 50 after three wins, and no better overall WDC finish than eight, says it all! But apart from that, I'd like to see Fangio above Senna, and Mansell a couple of places back, but the top 10 is not that bad. Looking at just F1, I don't think Moss is #7. Looking at accomplishements in all forms of racing in all time, then he's top 10, definitely!
