So ... in a few corners we 'll have Ferrari First and Last

Few more and Ferrari will be lapping Ferrari.
Kelateboy
Trulli is the real loser here, getting stucked behind Badoer. Barrichello who passed Badoer on Lap 6 is now 8sec ahead of Trulli.

If the car breaker does not destroy his ferrari.., let's bet when he pass the second ferrari -. before first pit already?

Yes, It's well known that the run off area there is gripper than the track.

I presume you mean 'slippier'?
Spunout
Räikkönen sure doesn´t fear the painted lines; he almost goes on grass while braking. Häkkinen was the another driver who did that.

Just heard Grosjean on TV, Button closed the door on him 'cause he didn't see the Renault. They had a talk after the crash, it's Button himself that told that to RG.

JB on the BBC, Grosjeam outbraked himself. It's BS if he is trying to blame JB.
Hole
Alonso is having a quite decent pace with fuel for 22 laps more. And he's 9th now. I think he'll pass some cars.
Clatter
QUOTE (Beamer @ Aug 30 2009, 13:27) *

No.

The runoff areas use a much grippier tarmac to help the cars slow down if they have a problem. If they used slippery tarmac there would be more and bigger accidents.

KERS advantage gets KR into first, but what a bore, completely removes the driver skill element.

You are right - but I remember that SPA was drivers' track.
Is that right, anyone?
Massa_f1
Shame about Button, Thats what you get when you get novices on the grid.
Oracle
All the hatered against Kimi amazes me. There were no talk about penalty when Alonso did that in exactly the same place before.
engel
Fisi seems to make his fuel go a long way :S

Nice one, Red Bull. Prats.........

Only when they're favourite is driving well, of course.
Clatter
Webber has to get drive thru for that release. He has been let off a few things lately, but surely not that one.

They keep doing those unsafe releases
Les
That's a certain penalty for Webber.

Nice guy, but Webber is the dirtiest driver in F1 today.

If Kimi wins his fansboys will go mental

Alonso's still taking his seat

he might get away with it, he let Heidfeld through on track. But he should get a penalty, Redbull keep doing the same thing over and over

I remember similar comments being made years ago. The general opinion is that we can't understand why the FIA don't stamp down on it.

Eh?

Webber is totally dependant on the team telling him when to go.
He can't even see the other car coming. How is that his fault? rolleyes.gif

IMHO it's because they have been allowed to get away with it in the past. They did exactly the same only last race.

Well done FIA about time a dodgy release got a penalty.

That's true, but he still tried to ease Heidfeld into the pitwall.

He's the king of intimidation.

Not so bad in the pitlane, but super dangerous on the track.

Anyway..

Driver in "Not My Fault" Shocker. The replays make it blindingly obvious that Grosjean missed his braking. Button told the Beeb that Grosjean forgot to brake.

He should follow Kimi, he is clean. Having sauna at least twice a week .
That is why he likes KERS, he just trhow some water on the hot system (like owen). Only missing bunch of leaves and a lake (or sea)

Disagree

A little bump in the pitlane and how many members of the pitcrews might be run over??

The stewards announce that the incident on lap one between Jenson Button and Romain Grosjean will be investigated after the race.

Also the LH/JA one. Lets see if the new boys get a penalty, not that it really helps the victims.

1. Raikkonen
2. Fisichella
3. Kubica

y not? He took the long way 'round.

Did Kimi get punted up the bum?

That was an AMAZING start though....he has great reflexes to juke around the stalled Rubens, avoid mayhem in turn one, and come out of the first lap running.

Guys, on lap 2, Luca BADoer is in purple. This is the last time that will ever happen....or that his name will appear on the timing screens, for that matter.

In the purple while under yellow waiting on safety car......

and NO PENALTY for Kimi??

Give the ferrari-spa stewards credit!!!

No difference there than what Lewis did on a wet and slippery track last year, except due to weather, Lewis had an excuse. Kimi does NOT. down.gif

It was awfully nice of Ferrari to supply the FIA with a mobile chicane for the race.

A penalty for exactly what? rolleyes.gif

Alonso is having a great race, he only needs to stop 1 time and might be loosing time when he comes back, but he's taking a lot of positions with that strategy, that is working of course due his nice pace.

What is going on with badour, 4 laps in a row purple 1st sector, slow in the 2nd decent in the 3rd?

Where are the splits?
JazH
Problematic for Kimi...He's not gonna make it.
Oracle
I find it a bit schizophrenic that in the FOTA raw FIA planned to sue and say goodbye to Ferrari and now some think they are helping Ferrari again. But maybe the fan-boys have nothing else to follow when Ham crashed.
lokiman
Man, Fisi is right on Kimi's gearbox.
