I'm searching for the complete name of the French driver Villemain. A Grand Prix driver who raced different cars such as Darracq, Clément-Bayard, Martin&Lethimonnier and others in the early years of the past Century. He was one of the seven people killed in the huge accident which happened near Bordeaux, during the 1907 Critérium de France.

All the sources available report him as "A. Villemain".
Alain? Albert? Antoine?

Who knows?

The name of the Darracq/Clément-Bayard driver was Louis Villemain.

He was also active in motorcycle races.
His father had a motorcycle shop at no. 35 Rue Arago, Puteaux.

I can't add anything regarding his name but here he is from a set of postcards issued by Bouveret of Le Mans for the 1906 race.
