Full Version: Gallery problem?

Hi
I am a subscriber to Autosport.com and have noticed that I can't now save the x3 gallery images as .jpg files using IE. The only option is .bmp (which is a real drag).

Using Firefox everything seems OK and .jpg is available but as IE is my defualt browser this is inconvenient.

Has anything changed?

Is anyone else having these problems?

Help!!!

Thanks for the link, but it seems unlikely that 3 different PCs would develop the same symptoms in the same week. I have tried 3 other PCs, running different versions of IE, and all do the same - .bmp only confused.gif

I've always assumed it was some sort of caching issue, as I get the same problem if I am opening several super-high-res images at the same time, and by the time I get around to saving them, it's a .bmp

So what I tend to do is reload each image individually and the minute it's finished I immediately do a right-click save-as. But that seems to specifically an IE problem and one of the reasons I use Firefox for everything now.

And why are you trying to save our high-res images wink.gif

Which is why I prefer FireFox! biggrin.gif

As a paying subscriber I am allowed to save to my own PC for my own use!
I download one each week for use as a new Desktop.

Hack
It looks like we inadvertently triggered one of IE's many strange quirks, but should now be fixed.
