Hello,

My father-in-law has flights and tickets for the above but is struggling to find accommodation for 6 nights which doesn't cost £'000s. He arrives Thursday 29 Oct.

Anyone know of clean, cheap hotel or guest house rooms not far from the Yas Marina circuit? Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

I am going to Abu Dhabi race. Can't afford hotel in Abu Dhabi though. Therefore staying in Dubai overnight. I managed to find hotel for price of 40 € or so...

About 120 km between Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Nothing more I can do but I can't just miss the first race in Emirates... smile.gif

Try bookng.com - last time I looked there was stuff on there for less than £900 per six nights - not cheap, per se, but three figures rather than four...

there's some available on www.asiarooms.com
not cheap of course, but nowhere ever is during F1.
if you're getting a taxi to the track, (am not sure where it is, but we were in Bahrain 2 years ago)
make sure you ask the hotel how much to the track first. so you know what to negotiate
with the taxi. we found they kept trying to put it up every day, eventually tried to double the
price, but because we knew what the normal price was, we had the upper hand already.

good luck, report back with any interesting info. we always need new info especially from new tracks.
