Hiya all,

Im planning on going to the Chinese Gran Prix in the 2010 season.. im currently trying to find out some prices of admission for race day ut cant find anything online... can anyone help me with some info if that have been before or some links to any sites with the information please??

Also if you have been before... can you reccomend any good Seats / Stands to get tickets for??

The official website for the Shanghai circuit is http://www.f1china.com.cn/ - always buy direct from the circuit rather than through any third-parties.

Have never been, but I reckon if I were to buy tickets for the event I'd probably go for somewhere around the final hairpin. There's general admission there for £40, but seeing as you'll be paying a bit to get there (I presume?) you might want to splash out for something a little better.

If you're based in the UK and looking for someone to do all the hard work for you, I would thoroughly recommend Motor Racing International

I sat in stand G in 2007. Not a bad view. Especially of Hamilton's whoopsy. I went with Grandstand Motorsports who were very good with respect to things to do outside the racing.

I was at the K grandstand for the 2008 Formula 1 race. That was a good seat where i could see the cars braking down from max speed at the end of the long backstraight, some overtaking, see the cars choosing different lines in turn 14 and 15 and see the cars entering the pitlane.

Been to the last 5 Chinese Grand Prix's... Sat in all the stands around the track... If you like seeing pit stops bla bla bla.. then section A stand, top deck is best for veiwing 80% of the track (you can see all over the back.. The stands around turn 1,2,3 are all great! Esp B6, you really get to see how the drivers take difference lines, and some drivers break the corner up into 3 sections..) Section J, is GA, so you can watch a practice session from down there... Section H, is great! There is a small bump in the breaking area, and you see 2 sides of the track...

You can actually buy tickets outside the main gate at a much cheaper $$$ from plenty of scalpers!! They will even try to buy your one back off you the next day!! (The Chinese are KINGS wherever there is an opportunity for a deal..)

Yep, will have to agree with Sith as have been there for 4/5 of those with him. i would always take main grandstand for race day, but you can get to many of the other grandstands and corners with the grandstand ticket (not usually race day of course), but especially on friday and saturday, you have access to all the other area's, as long as you can walk well or ride a bike.

Like all F1 races. All grandstands are sold as a 3 day ticket. Scalpers will sell you a race day grandstand ticket..

It´s always the same...Ecclestone doesn´t really care about the spectators at the circuit...for him it´sonly important to get as much money from the organizers and the TV-rights...

The last time I visited a Grand Prix must be ten years ago...I had one of the best seat at the A1-Ring, wher you could see let´s say 90 percent of the circuit...but the prize was huge...almost 400,- Euro that day...therefore I had a seat without roof...had to walk miles to my seat...

Other people make a 1-week-vacation with that money...

Im just about to buy some tickets for this years Grand Prix through the Offical Formula 1 website.. im looking at stands B5 - B8... but can anyone tell me if i get to pick my own seats or do i get given them??
