..Let's hear it folks...
katmen
NO, only one year gardening leave in WRC is acceptable
pacwest
As boring as post race conferences are with him it's highly entertaining to see someone who is a KNOWN party guy act like some socially inept computer programmer who lives in his mom's basement.

No.
glorius&victorius
gee... still some interest in him... hope he wakes up and sees this tomorrow... (if it continues like this)
Amrl
No, not really.
Diablobb81
He, he , i think it's clear who voted yes. lol.gif

No, F1 shouldn't lose a top driver so quickly.

LdM and SD.. this poll is flying... in 15 minutes 30 votes... i wonder what kind of traffic this BB generates.. (but that is another matter :-)

Kooper
not no, but Hell NO!
Arctic_Banana
Those who vote for ''yes'' hate F1.

Why the hell you even bother to register here then roflmao.gif
MaxFan1
He did say Ferrari would be the last team he would drive for. Better for him to keep his word and retire.

Thats MaxFan and Giacomo. Oh and another thing, Columbo and some other guy as well.
UPRC
Kimi should NOT leave F1. He's still super quick when the car is right and he hasn't lost his edge at all. He just needs a car that truly suits him.

Ah, just stfu. You are a broken record. He was sacked by Ferrari.
glorius&victorius
i would think LH and RK fans would be the most likely to vote yes...some of FA fans... though I am sure FA would relish KR competition...FM fans would pro'ly be glad to see one less WDC challenger gone...
morganeryl
I think being 29 years old is way too young to retire.

Plus, Kimi is still one of the best drivers on the grid, and has driven the socks off the F60 in the latter half of the season.
Orin
With a McLaren seat on offer he'd have to be really fed up with F1 to quit. He's too young to call it a day.

A driver should be able to adapt to a car and not just wait for a car that "truly suits him".

Yeah yeah, and Alonso said while ago he would never drive Ferrari. People say things according how things are at the moment, then things can change and they can change their mind. Its not like breaking a promise made to somebody personally.
Dragonfly
No retirement and no leave.
I think Kimi is a very worthy driver.
Owen
A charisma free zone. But a spectacular and talented driver. So stay.
primer
As long as the teams are paying him to drive their car, why should he retire?

is your avatar the spanish version of the ferrari logo? smile.gif

...but that is not a bull...
kismet
I don't think he's thinking of retirement. He's made way too many references to continuing in recent weeks, and I really doubt he'd want to give Ferrari the last laugh.

And if he ever shows up in any kind of rallying event in a Fiat, I will personally hunt him down and slap some sense into him.

So I guess that would be a no.

IzzyMoreno
If he is still intrested, otherwise yes, he should retire. Personally I'd like to see him drive.
Don_Humpador
No, he is talented enough to stay in the sport for the foreseeable future and there is enough demand for him from the teams.

Whether HE wants to is a different matter.
Heasven
I sure hope not.

C'mon Kimi !
stevewf1
Retire or stay... Why not let him make his own decisions? Ya think?

we just expressing our humble opinion here... which now more looks like well wishing messages of support from F1 fans

Exactly the reason why I voted 'YES'.

It shows he is not motivated.

He should take a sabbatical.
Buttoneer
Before I vote, I need to know something important. If he retires, will he take the Kimifosi with him?

CoolFiltered
I sincerely hope he doesn't retire, he still has much to offer, if he is seriously considering retirement and decides against it, I think he will start 2010 reinvigorated, and that can only be a benefit to his fans, and the fans of other drivers.
Ricardo F1
Absolutely not - but I caveat that with - as long as he gets a drive with a top team. And they're called McLaren.
Ural
I said yes. WRC is much more spectacular environment!
MegaManson
Up to Kimi

If his heart isn't in it no point continuing
Craven Morehead
I wonder if today's comments from the Kimster weren't just a negotiating tactic to squeeze a few more bucks from Whitmarsh & Co.

Or he is resenting the role of Santander and having second thoughts..

I don't quite get this. Kimi is in the weak position not McLaren. Macca have Hamilton they don't need Kimi

I think his lack of emotion and charisma is what at the same time makes him so charismatic for me.

I don't want him to leave.
