Well, I suppose due to snow and holidays the 31st Dec issue turned up on the 8th Jan, and last weeks issue hasn't arrived yet. So both at least a week late, where normally I would get them here in Germany on the Friday or Saturday (ie 1 or 2 days after publication)

Not impressed and coupled with the non-availability of the online mag that was available last year during the postal strike I am not happy.

Edit: Just checked and I have 7 issues remaining on my subscription. Sorry Autosport but I won't be renewing

Thursday mine popped through the door.

Nice one Autosport.

Interesting this week's editorial has a bit which takes the piss out of "lazy subs".

Then, a few pages later there's a whopper of a mistake where a photo of Helmut Marko is caption 'Dietrich Mateschitz'...

Ouch.

2 copies arrived on Friday last week (the one from the previous week and the latest copy).

So I am up-to-date now but still

Postie has been this morning (yup, surprised me too), still haven't got this week's issue. Just as well I picked it up yesterday for £1 from the Autosport International event.

Going to use my refund for the remainder of the issues left on my annual subscription and put it towards subscribing to Motorsport Magazine instead. That's less time-sensitive so it won't matter as much if it goes astray for three or four days at a time.

Was thinking of doing exactly the same, plus Nigel Roebuck is still writing for it.

It's no good receiving a weekly magazine like Autosport only to be able to read previews for races I watched the day before. Obviously at the moment it's not an issue as there are no races on at this time of year but it annoys me the technology to put the mag online is there but they don't make it available. If it was online evry week I probably wouldn't need a hard/paper copy, thus saving production costs.

Bingo! House! Etc.

If only someone at AUTOSPORT would take blimmin' notice and do something about it. I hope this Castrol Rankings thing helps generate some extra advertising income for them so they can put this in place before too long as I can only see magazine subscriber numbers dwindling month after month.

Well they have lost me unless something happens in the next 7 weeks' time, as that is how many issues I have left on my current subscription.

As the mag is obviously produced on computer programs compatible with putting it online I can only guess they don't do it as they are worried people will give their password out to all and sundry for them to read for free.

There may be a problem with snow affecting the delivery, but waiting one and a half week for the magazine to reach Sweden is ridiculous mad.gif

I am sick of this crap with the magazine. I call the people in the US and get the same story. The truth is it is not thier fault. It is the mails fault. I have not received one in at least 2 weeks. I will not subscribe next year.

Suffering succotash! For the first time in about four months, my magazine has arrived on the day of publication! The subscription gods must have been looking down on me this week.

Until about last year they always arrived on a Thursday. For the past few months they have rarely arrived on a Thursday. I usually put it down to the Post Office, as I seem to get droughts of mail followed by floods, but am wondering whether there is something more sinister...

Mine arrived today as normal, on time.

Ever since the postal strike things have been sweet.

Though the flap, dead on time today.

Just so you all know!
