Any of you from the days of the Tasman series recall someone by the name of Darryl Penhale? He wrote an article for Sports Car Graphic on the 1965 series. Nice little article and well-written. The article also had some nice illustrations by Connell Lee. I happened upon it tonight as I was looking through the SCG's for some information on Formula SCCA. And that was after finally getting all the 'stuff' I had gotten while at Watkins Glen into file folders, scanned some new tracks for Darren, worked on about three different articles, and so forth.

I remember the name, but not the person. May have met him, but I'm not sure.

A Darrel Penhale used to be on the payroll at Elfin Sports Cars in Adelaide in the sixties and wrote for SCG et al - I failed to track him down in order to extend him an invitation to the Elfin 50th Anniversary Celebrations last year - his whereabouts &/or his articles would be good!!
