There is a nice open-minded interview with Aldo Costa in a serbian motorsport magazine.
Talking about next year he said they achieved already good improvments with the fuel consumption of the engine in the last weeks and Luca Marmorini should help them to improve even more; he doesn´t think that they´ll have a disadvantage in comparison to other teams next year.
He also said that the new car will be a real revolution and in some departments they took quite radical routes, something they have not done in past years.
Despite that new approach the team is confident that the reliability of the car will be very good from the beginning, also thanks to some restructuring in the quality control during the summer.
Sounds good.
Can´t wait to see the new car

- I was never so close to this development process. I'm sure the car is more competitive than the model 2009. Last year, we let the title slip through little, so I want to be champion in 2010. It is still early to tell, but I think this is going very well. Ferrari have learned a lot from their mistakes, so it's looking even better.

Maranello, 19 November 2009 - December will start with a unique Formula 1 test session - foreseen on the calendar between the 2009 season's conclusion and the start of the preparations for 2010 - exclusively for young drivers. The appointment for all the teams is set for 1 December at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit in Southern Spain. Ferrari will take a F60 to the track, driven on the first two days by the Frenchman Jules Bianchi, who recently won the Drivers' and Teams' titles in the Formula 3 Euroseries, while on 3 December, just like in 2008, the top three drivers in the Italian Formula 3 Championship - the Italians Daniel Zampieri and Marco Zioli and the Mexican Pablo Sanchez Lopez - will take turns behind the wheel of the single-seater used by the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro in this year's championship.
I think that's very good decision

.
so they moved the test from fiorano to jerez.

It's a pity we don't have any testing this season.
Imagine the hype and momentum that could be built with Massa's return to active duty and Alonso's first laps in red.
It would certainly offset the costs of a mere week of testing. Heck, they could probably sell some 50k tickets or more at Barcelona and make some money of it.

Yeah, but there will be no testing at all this year.
I'm not sure if it's a gentlemen's agreement or written in rule though.
It's self defeating anyhow. Just like it was when they realized you need the least ammount of in season testing to be prepared for eventualities and/or promote rookies and newcommers.
I agree.
I kinda like the idea to do non championship races during the of season, with full three day program.

Alonso continues work at Ferrari QUOTE
Fernando Alonso has completed his second semi-official visit to new team Ferrari's headquarters - and completed more laps of its Fiorano test track.
The former world champion travelled to Maranello for the first time earlier this month, but returned this week to spend more time working with engineers as they continue preparations for 2010.
Although F1's testing ban means Alonso will not be able to try out a Ferrari F1 car until early next year, he completed more laps of Fiorano at the wheel of a 458 Italia and 599 road car.
So they can't even let him have a go in the F2008 or older?
I'm sure the simulator is fine but letting them test an older and less relevant car to the next years should be allowed.
