TT Mike
Evening everyone,

I hope I'm not being inappropriate but I'd like to draw your attention to a calendar that's been produced by www.roadracingsupporters.com, featuring pictures from the real road racing scene over 2009 - I'm one of the contributing photographers.

It's a 14 month A4 calendar featuring a foreword by John mcGuinness and will include a free A3 poster. Cost is £4.99 + £1.50 p&p and as we've been fortunate enough to secure financial backing for it's production, every penny of the £4.99 purchase cost will be divded between the two chosen charities which are the Rob Vine Fund and the Manx Grand Prix Supporters Club Helicopter Fund. It can be purchased via a link on the site's home page:

http://www.roadracingsupporters.com/

From the production run of 1000, nearly 500 have already been sold less than three weeks after it's launch, so they may sell out soon. Responses have been excellent and previews can be found here:

Once again, I hope this doesn't breach forum etiquette - and thanks for looking smile.gif

Hi Mike, I can only agree with all your sentiments. Mine arrived this morning, absolutely great calendar for all road racing supporters. Congratulations to all at RRS on an incredibly professional production.
I thought I was the only RRS'r mooching around here. wave.gif
Edit* Hope you don't mind Mike, I took the liberty of pasting the original post in Racing Comments 2 wheel thread.

Sorry for not replying sooner - I wasn't around yesterday! If you click on the link to the roadracingsupporters site and scroll down the home page, you will find the 'buy now' button. Just below it is this message:

"If you would like to purchase via another method of payment please email Kev Here"

Click on the bit that says Kev Here and Kevin Collier will be able to sort everything out for you and advise on shipping cost. One of the site's members lives in Belgium and he's received his calendar, so I can't see it being a problem.

Hi Milestone 11 - that's 2 RRS'ers on here then! wave.gif

Glad you like it biggrin.gif

Just to re-iterate, if we manage to sell the full issue of 1000 calendars then the Rob Vine Fund (which supplies medical equipment for motorsport on the Isle of Man) and the Manx Grand Prix Supporters Club Helicopter Fund (which helps to pay for the rescue helicopter for the Manx GP) will each receive £2500.

I know times is hard (and as I'm on a 2 day week right now - don't I know it rolleyes.gif ) but any help will be greatly appreciated!

Mine's arrived promptly in Western Australia, just in time to get many of the pics autographed by the huge lineup of Real Roadracing talent out here for the Kings of Wanneroo this weekend. Should be a cracker ! eek.gif
