Wooby hs been slow in the race compared to Button for most of the season - not sure why it is seen as an issue in Brazil but bot before.

On look at his grid interview before the reace was enough to know he wasnt going to win..

Brundle - Can you win it Rubens ?

RB - pause...um er yeah (in a half hearted way)

He couldnt take the pressure of his home race and once again lost heart as soon as he came out of the pits behind the leaders - as we have seen many times from him.

Nice guy and all that - but only ever a good no2 driver.
Just waiting
all year long in many races, rubens was either stalling out on the start or getting stuck in the second stint and falling back, way back from where he should have been. Did it in race after race.
this was was no different. cry.gif

It was definitely Alonsos fault, no doubt about it

I don't know what happened on that second stint, either. The loss of time to Kubica is what was a little weird. Webber had a pretty sharp car and was driving away with a few more laps of fuel on that first stint, but Rubens should have been able to stick a little closer to Kubica.

I was looking at F1.com's Live Timing while watching the race, and Rubens was consistently in the low 1:15s after that first stop, which was very similar to the times Webber and Kubica were doing, but Hamilton just looked faster through that middle stint of the race.

And after lap 8, Kubica turned down his revs and drove the rest of the race in a shit BMW with overheating problems.

But overall I agree, it was Max's fault... mad.gif
