Full Version: How good is Adrian Sutil?

The car is very good since Spa. Adrian showed great speed in qualifyings, but in races he doesn't deliver. He got 5 points in Monza, when he started from the front row, but that's all. He is involved in far too many racing incidents.

Bad luck all around or he is just not good enough?

I'd say bad luck. Sometimes a bit overenthusiastic but those things happen. I remember Mika Häkkinen having the same kind of reputation in his earlier years. The collision yesterday wasn't his fault. Although I wonder if he could have stopped the car and avoid getting hit by Alonso. But guess there was just too much speed.

wasnt he on the grass at that point?

his biggest problem is people are drawn to him, and crash into him :/

About as good as Fisichella - and that's being nice to him after Giancarlo beat him in most of the race weekends they were together.

Sutil is pretty good but there's something missing in his personality. I don't know what.

I don't get what you are suggesting with this statement.

The next question then becomes, how good is the Force India?
sir jackie walker
He has some speed, but he is still too erratic and aggressive. Cutting Kimi's rear tyre in the start, leaving Kovalainen no room in Suzuka, Singapore madness... He hasn't always been the only one to blame, but mostly he has at least been in a good position to let go, and not crash. In wet he is excellent; too bad he will eventually bin it.

Sutil sure has time to learn racecraft and consistency, but I'm afraid the big teams aren't going to bother, if he drives another erratic season for Force India in 2010. There are new guys coming in every year, and I really think he should do better next year, if he wants a good car.
