I wish someone would write a book about the 2009 season preferably from a BrawnGP insider point of view. This season has been controversial to say the least. The actual racing may be boring but the off-track politics and fairy tale story of the BrawnGP team seems like a good read to me.

I still think Brundle should write his autobiography - coming through the formulas in the 80s, racing (and sometimes beating) Senna, His crash at Dallas in '84, all the sportscar stuff he did, that dreadful year at McLaren, moving in to the commentary & driver management and his clashes with Tania.. theres alot to read about.

Meantime go find the Sid Watkins books, "Life at the limit" and "Beyond the limit" - you can pick them up in paperback form for a few quid and are definately worth reading.

Didn't Mosley say he was going to publish his memoirs or something?

A book on Flav sounds interesting too.

Yeah I have that, but its more about the tracks than his career and doesn't cover the commentary/management/sportscars or his start in motorsport.

You're right, it is worth a read though.

I think he quite nicely weaves in all his motor racing experiences by visiting the places they took place.

A great read, and a fresh approach.

I'd also like to read the biographies of the following:

1) Ron Dennis
2) Mika Hakkinen
3) Kimi Raikkonen (once his F1 career ends and includes his foray into rallying).

What would Ron Dennis' autobiography be called? "Permanently recorded ink-filled photogravured lexical units composed by the individual who refers to the aforesaid composer utilizing the perpendicular pronoun"?

If it was, I would definitely buy it. lol.gif

It's still better than the eye-gouging tautology of "My Autobiography", favoured by footballers and reality TV stars.
