The last six races of the season are meant to be run with two engines: Spa, Singapore and Brazil for one engine and Italy, Japan and Abu Dhabi for the other engine. The first engine has done its job, heres hoping that the second one holds up as well!

I got my information from elsewhere but this page seems to back it up: http://www.pitlanefanatic.com/engine.php

Going for a Brawn and Button victory here. That or Lewis.

Button should not mess up qualifying the same way he has the past few races. If he does get it right then I expect him to win.

Should be a tight race though with hopefully lots of overtaking which the track looks like it should provide.

Lewis or Red Bulls IMO. That pitlane is just mental. Actually the whole circuit is. I can see many overtaking opportunities and some of them frightening. Ones for those with guts. Therefore not Brawn. My money is on Lewis, then Vettel and Webber. Can't wait..

he did limited running at monza and suzuka so enginewise it should be fine.

force india:

Dr Vijay Mallya: But the Abu Dhabi aero configuration is roughly similar to Brazil and Valencia(?), and even though we can't expect rain, we can expect a reasonable level of performance in qualifying that should put us in a good position for the race.

Adrian Sutil: Whether we can repeat in Abu Dhabi we will have to see, but it's a relatively low downforce track and we have performed well in these conditions before so I am optimistic.

Williams:

Kazuki Nakajima: It looks like set-up will veer towards a medium to high downforce configuration

some contradicting views there.
Ruud de la Rosa
Alan Permane, Chief engineer, renault: There are a couple of reasonably long straights, but it does look like it will be quite stop-start - a bit like the street circuit in Valencia. In terms of downforce, it will be on the higher side, although we won't run maximum downforce settings because of the long straights where straight-line speed will be important.

Lewis on pole

BMW to take the win in its last race with Heidfeld.

Second Sebastien Vettel

Third Fernando Alonso

A lot of DNFs

Considering how everyone says the straight bit/first sector will be the bit to overtake you'd think running a low-ish downforce setup would be good for the actual race if you have a driver with the balls to overtake. You'd also want to minimise the risk of being overtaken in the area which has the highest chance of being overtaken. But for Qualifying it's different, so it's an intriguing problem I guess.

I'm just throwing that out there though, that's my uneducated opinion on it all. To be honest I don't even know what they do to change a car from low downforce to high downforce. Reduce the angle of attack on the wings?

Bah, I say go for some sort of low-medium setup so you can really go at the cars should you need to.

Considering how well the VJM02 is in low downforce conditions it's easy to see why they'll play to their strengths on this track.

Finally, after seing the race I could understand the Yas Marina circuit.

The track is actually an amusement park for sport cars, therefore, the curves that are run in 2 / 3rd gear are fun to a street car.
The non abrasive surface and the long straigh also ccoperates to the Track Day experience.
The lights also helps the have driving at night, when the desert temperatures are lower.
The hotel in the complex and the FerrariLand completes the package.

The ridiculous ammount of slow corners and short straights reminds me of Singapore, so I guess it should be a McLaren track. On the other hand, it shouldn't be half as bumpy and hard to ride, which should favour Red Bull, who were already very strong at Singapore. And there's always the possibility of a good race from Rosberg and maybe even Alonso. Not to mention Brawn, rightful WCC and competitive as well.

I really think it's wide open, but Red Bull are my pre-race favourites followed by Hamilton.
