I'm new to the Bulletin Board so I'm not sure if anyone can help me. I'm trying to locate some old issues of The Autocar as a gift for my father. They date back to the 20's and 30's and are proving very hard to find. The issues are:

June 20th 1930
June 13th 1930 (Particularly this one)
April 12th 1929
June 6th 1930
March 29th 1929

Alternatively, maybe someone can point me in the direction of a second hand book/magazine shop that might have them?

You could try the British Library. Or even the State Library in Melbourne.
