As mentioned in another thread, earlier this week, I had the opportunity to visit Yamaha HQ in Hamamatsu (Iwata actually) and while there visited the communications plaza, our welcome center. There is a display area upstairs that is changed from time to time and I was thrilled to find it currently celebrates the history of Yamaha's success in racing. Goodpoint actually. There is lots of great and older stuff ( as well as a huge collection of important off road bikes) but me being a fan of the eighties road racing world championships, I guess I inadvertantly applied my own filter.
