I find Legard perfectly acceptable, and let's face it, he's done two (well, actually 1,1/2!) F1 races! Give the guy a chance! The only small gripe I have is during qualifying, too much use of the word "Out" instead of "On Track".
I think 2004, 2006, and 2007 have all been pretty good. Can't remember 2005, must have slept through it. The race is scheduled in April this season so it should guarantee some rain, which will spice things up a bit. Maybe we will get a race to the finish without a safety car this time?

I feel Legard was worse second time out than he was in Austrialia.
He made numeroues errors - but so did Martin.
Maybe they had problems in the commentary box.
If Legard does not improve and they dont gell more as the season goes on then I think the BBC may think again next season.
Having said that he is nowhere near as bad as JA was - I think some people have very short memories.

He's just as bad as Allen but in a different way, imo. Like the difference between a dog turd and a cat poo.

I'm sorry but you have no idea what you're on about, a cat pooh is ten times worse than a dog turd.

Yes, from what I've heard its quite good as well.
I'm surprised that more of the posters on here have not been discussing the CBBC coverage!

Hoped all along it would Brundle and DC, instead of Brundle and *insert whoever*.
Legard is ok, but he's no DC. He'll get better as time goes on, he is very very rusty however he's not overly fanboyish so that's already an improvement.
Proof that they are really out of touch with real life and reality - there is no F1 this weekend.
Idiots.

What about those of us who are not religious and would rather do without spending the license fee on religious programmes?

It is on topic. Some pretentious guy in a hat is moaning at a publicly funded BBC for not lending credence to HIS idea of religion, out of the thousands out there, and specifically targets Formula 1.

My mother (not a church goer by any stretch of the imagination) complained about Tesco being open today on the holiday, despite the fact that it let her do the shopping she needed to do

I don't mind the errors because if I'm paying attention as then I spot them and I know what is really going on and if I don't spot the errror then it doesn't matter. He could tell me Schumacher is pitting, what does it matter? It's better than the fanboy.
I loved the internet feed on Saturday with Anthony Davis and the others. I think the feed on Sunday was hosted by different people?

Brundle speaking about 60% would be ideal. Most of the rest should be silence except for the cars. We had a strike at the CBC and they managed to broadcast the football without any commentators. You could hear the actions on the field. What do I care about the names of the players. It was the best coverage ever.

For those who don't like Eddie Jordan, I have really good news for you. You won't be seeing him this weekend.
For those who don't like Mike Gascoyne, I have really bad news for you. You'll be seeing him a lot this weekend.
So, what can we expect this weekend? Well, for a start, a change of personnel. EJ can't make this race so the supremely talented and vastly experienced Mike Gascoyne will take his place (he's a fellow Norwich fan so we'll need to try and track the East Anglian Derby down somewhere in Shanghai... hmmmm, I don't hold out much hope). I think Mike will give us a unique insight into the technical side of the sport and it may be the perfect time given that the diffuser row is set to be decided on Wednesday.

Gascoyne He will provide the informed technical insights I've been missing for much of BBC's coverage and he would make an excellent permanent replacement for EJ.

At least for mike, he won't have to be asked "So what will Lewis be doing now?" every 30 seconds.

He was good when ITV kept pestering him on the pitwall at Monaco last year
The essence is:
German RTL didn`t use Bernie`s official logistics partner DHL to transport their stuff from KL to Shanghai but used a cheaper logistics firm.
Bernie is pissed off because of that and is now pressuring the local customs (via the track officials) to not give RTL their equipment, so they "confiscated" all of it.
