Great last lap. How did Webber hang on?!
Well done to the Red Bulls, Brawns and Toyotas. Great drive from Heidfeld to get 5th too and Buemi to hold onto the last point.
Well done to Macca to just beat Ferrari in the CWC.

Hope Trulli was watching, Button showed how to PROPERLY try to overtake on the outside.
WTH ... that was pathetic, why did they keep team personnel so far away from the cars on parc ferme ... damn clinical

What?! You mean that you're not supposed to run out of room, refuse to back off and bin it into the kitty litter before blaming the guy you were trying to overtake?

I think the fact Button only tried the outside is more a commentary on how Webber defends than anything else.

It's a shame that the driver you and I support is most likely coming to Macca next year, he comes with baggage, idiots like you.

Sebastian Vettel, congratulation, as this is probably as good, if not the best end for winter months. Excellent job!
Vettel is oke as a driver, class act ... But everything he acts and says, imho, is a bit fake.

Great Job by Vettel. Shame we were robbed of a bit of potential action with Lewis / Mark / Seb, we'll never know how that would have panned out.

Overall I enjoyed today's race, especially the last few laps.
I know most posters will not agree but I really like this circuit.
I look forward to next years race and maybe with a bit of luck I'll be there watching it from the stands.

Previously they sent Kimi to lap with tyre that was flapping about wildy. Whitmarsh - much more conservative, reducing their "win at all costs attitue", making McLarn much more likeable instead of disliked

No driver could compete with what Kimi did today. He started 11th, finished in 12th and showed why he's worth every penny of the 45 million he is paid. Ferrari had a bargain.

There is a big difference between only having a few laps to do, compared to over 30.

Yep Kimi beaten by rookie in a soulless Toyota on the one stop, while he drove the "hearty" prancing horse machine.
Perhaps it will cause some to sell their F430s and purchase Lexus IFAs..........

How long does it takes to change brake pads in a F1 ?
Since Maca detected it in lap 3, there was plenty of time to change it and rejoin the race, to try to make some points as it was the last race.

I would think there was a little more to the problem than just changing brake pads.

Yeah right. You think it's like working on your own car and the job just takes a few seconds?
