And so to the final position for the season....and the winner is schievlak, with a score of 9 laps comes from second position to take the win!! dnbn moves from 5th to take second position and Apex moves from 6th to finish 3rd. Leader after the last round rodlamas finishes in equal 4th position with shays. Consistency award to AcuraF1 whose worst score for the season was 33 laps.

What a rollercoaster event this was!



The moment I came into the lead I just knew I had to loose it, because the good Adrian was so much hit-or-miss....
So when I lost the lead in Brazil I knew I had a good chance to win!

(BTW I was wondering if Sutil wasn't lapped earlier briefly in lap 42 - he pitted a lap earlier than Vettel and is 2 minutes+ behind in http://f1.autosport.com/2009/gapchart.php/id/17, not that it matters in my case)

You had me worried, so I rechecked the official FIA lap chart . Adrian pitted on lap 41 but Vettel pitted next lap, so he officially isn't shown as going a lap down.

Congratulations to scheivlak for a well deserved victory!

Sutil had its ups and downs this year (and this sounds like an understatement), so you could never guess what will happen - I couldn't, anyway. Let's see who would be the Sutil of 2010, one from the new teams I suppose.

Thanks for running a great competition... I didn't realise how hard it would be to predict one simple number!

Sutil certainly kept us guessing with his crazy form - it should be a little easier next year when one of the new drivers is in a car slow enough that we won't have a crazy patch of the season where he's closer to the podium than to being lapped! Maybe we'll get to guess How Long It Will Take To Lap Senna?

Now that's just close enough to sacriledge to be funny.
