I think it's significant that despite having poor seasons both Mclaren and Ferrari still managed to finish 3rd and 4th in the constructors championship. They've beaten plenty of teams who had a jump on them this year with the rules change. I'll be surprised if they're not back at the front next year.
yea I can already see the headlines early next season. "Old guard back in front"....
I expect Red Bull and Brawn to be competitive, but I think Mclaren and Ferrari will atleast match them... and due to the fact that they (Mac and Ferrari) have a slightly better calibre of drivers (assuming Kimi Lewis Massa Alonso), edge in front of them on the grid.
Next season is already shaping up to be epic, chances of one team nailing it and leaving the rest trailing are quite reduced in my opinion as the regs. are not too different.
