Kinda cool to see all the parts out there in the shots of them fixing JJ's car.
BTW it wasn't Hornish's fault, that wreck is on Reutimann. It clearly wasn't intentional so it's just a racing incident.
That said, thank you Rooty. Your reckless ways are paying off in terms of entertainment value.
David Reutimann, your next mission, should you choose to accept it, is to knock Brad Krashalotsky out of the race.
LOL
JJ radio: They're gonna "change the whole nose, new decklid, new wing, new rear suspension,"..."no brake fluid change, just check the lines if it's not bent anywhere"...OMG!

Definitely. The most important thing is for JPM to crash, but whether he does it or not, I really hope those four finish 1-2-3-4, after leading the whole race between them and lapping the field.

It's a trade off. Pitting before you're out of fuel is called "short-pitting" and will result in overall faster pace. The cars with new tyres will kill the cars out on old tyres.
The gamble is that if you stay out longer, if a caution comes out in the small window where the other cars have pitted and you haven't, you can get an advantage and also some cars that just pitted can get trapped a lap down.
In my experience the chances of a caution coming out at just the right time are tiny, and IMO teams would be better served to pit sooner than current common practice.

these tyres are so hard the only reason to pit is for fuel.
If it's green they are probably timing the stops more on who is around them than any other reason.

Just last year they were blowing tyres all over at this track. GY has been making tyres so hard all these guys do is slide all over the place all year. GY will never make an agressive tyre again for NASCAR.
