In a discussion with a friend about how much change in the Cosworth engine being proposed for 2010.

His position is the new engine is just rpm limited to 18K

I believe that with changes in durability rules there are numerous and significant changes within the design of the engine.

I am sure that members present have some insights

It's no secret that despite the 'freeze' the teams have been allowed to make reliability improvements. Who knows how far behind they are?

There's a discussion of the Cosworth in the Racing Comments forum - http://forums.autosport.com/index.php?showtopic=114022

Would be interested to read something more technical...

Cheers
