I actually like it, even if it has a tad too much white. I think it'll turn out fine once it's not under the flashes of a million cameras and some wacky lighting at the same time.

Looks exactly the same as the Brawn livery with black highlights replacing the fluorescent yellow/green.

The silver might show up better when she's out in the daylight-hope that car isn't all white.

I find it interesting that the carcarries the number four when Schumacher is their coup de grace. At least, it does in the photos Humphrey posted. Maybe it had a three on the other side.

It doesn't mean anything other than he's not at the presentation. Sure, it could mean he's talking with Renault. But it could also mean that he didn't come to an agreement with Mercedes in time to be at the presentation, or that Mercedes didn't want to announce him there, or any number of things. It is by no means confirmation that he is not their test driver.

This is really only like a dress rehersal, I think. After all, they've only done a mock-up on a BGP-001. The full presentation won't be for another week or so yet, but again, if Heidfeld isn't there, it doesn't mean anything except that he's not there. I think the suggestion that he would be a part of today's unveiling was really a product of a lot of speculation born out of the Auto Bild reports that were retracted.

Most fail livery presentation ever, twenty minutes later and people still don't know what they've been showed.

I actually like it.

And all I know, the car will look 10x better once they remove those damn lights.

It'll work in silver, which it is. The teaser image of the headrest shows the actual silver colour. Those diabolical lights just make it seem white - which looks horrible. It'll look great in silver.

When will we be getting the damn studio images?! Come on merc, snap snap!!

I'd like to invite everyone to read the last four pages in one go like I just did - it's a lolsome rollercoaster of emotions.

It's amazing that the suggested colours from a couple of weeks back seem to be so close to what we've actually got. Pretty much a Brawn with silver instead of white and turquoise instead of yellow. I quite like simplicity normally but I don't think they have the best possible in-house livery designer at Brawn/Merc do they?
