What is that?
So everyone goes for a high nose but Brawn/Mercedes stays with their low nose?

It's just a nose piece on a table.
How can you tell if it will be mounted high or not?
Isn't this the old Honda nose they used for their presentation in Malaysia?

Quite a big hole for cooling the drivers, no?
Anyway, I can't wait to see how Mercedes/Brawn have developed their 2010 car. Its certainly going to be up there with Ferrari, McLaren and Red Bull.
I hope its as extreme and rule stretching as last year.

I think the font is Bank Gothic, a font always used to show modernism, professionalism and technical ability. They need learn many fonts has come to the market after this. Its very old.

I could be wrong but that nose looks suspiciously like the one from the RA-108 show car in Merc Livery from the Petronas event... Only the logo is a bit bigger....
But I guess we will find out tomorrow

Yes , that's what I thought, it looks like the nosecone of the old Earth Dreams Hondas, they had an identical-sized airhole and a surrounding bezel on their long skinny nose with flaired, broad frontwing struts ... but i got distracted with all the dumbo wings photos especially the poor old ra107, and lost all track of time, wow, still feeling a little dizzy, they really were a sight to behold.

...between a Brawn and a Honda painted as Mercs and christ knows what dressed up as a Renault, I really think the teams should quit giving us all the runaround.

Because of the shape. The pillars on either side are flat - that's the part sitting on the table - but the back of the pillar is higher than the front.

What time is the launch today? It would have to be early so that they could get some testing time in. And since Toro Rosso and Williams are also launching, they'd have to do something of a balancing act to get them all in and get track time. It's 5am now, and I'm guessing testing will start some time around 9 or 10am ... does anyone know for sure?

Not as long a wheel base as the McLaren from the looks of it. Very tight packaging at the rear seems like. Interesting , given that Mclaren has the same engine.

Looks almost like those spoiler-winglets-things on the nose of LeMans Prototypes..
The sidepods are huuuuge, the nose isnt high enough to get as much air as you can in the diffuser, IMHO, the front wing is the same as last years. If theyre hiding the new front wing, then theyre gonna have little days to test it.

The front wing is old, i think it doesnt make sense to hide the new wing, if they have it, further more. I think other teasm will start testing their front wing this week. Every1 kept saying that u need a high nose for the new extreme(triple) diffusers and they have a rather low one, i hope they dont have last years diffuser. Brawn worked on last years car to the last race and it shows for now.

My thoughts exactly. Maybe Tony Texeira bought into Brawn?
Maybe they've already got the high nose and are going to test both versions? Better than going completely radical and being stuck with a dog of a car for half the season, yeah?
