They should scrap the patch of black, have Mercedes-Benz in black lettering on the engine cover, and the shark-fin in black.
IMO of course.. it's a very underwhelming livery..
The airbox looks very interesting but the sidepod inlets are a bit huge for a Mercedes powered car, not?

Great Nose Job done, looks to me. Let us see what kind of time it will do.
...
The bend of the nose is so strong... like someone punched him to hard with his fist... I look like a animal nose that will sniff around the track so hard like a vacuum cleaner that is sucks the car down to the bottom and there fore unbeatable...
Exhaust,... perhaps they had no time at all to fix it for today.

In front of the black stripe on the engine cover are air inlets.

To me the exposed exhausts means that's not the engine cover they will actually be racing.

The front wing is old, i think it doesnt make sense to hide the new wing, if they have it, further more. I think other teasm will start testing their front wing this week. Every1 kept saying that u need a high nose for the new extreme(triple) diffusers and they have a rather low one, i hope they dont have last years diffuser. Brawn worked on last years car to the last race and it shows for now.

1. Why is anyone concerned about the front wing/exhausts issues? Brawn said that there will be a new aero package before Bahrain, didn't he? In testing, it's always useful to have some reference points and if they can use an old wing for one, all the better. It's not really all that surprising that the new car should be a careful evolution of the old one, which wasn't all that shabby.
2. Sidepods do look fatter than Mclaren. I'd like to see length comparisons, but my hunch is that they went with a shorter car and had different thoughts on packaging. Whether a longer and slimmer is better than shorter and fatter only time (and racing will tell).
3. Despite not being a designer, Brawn and downward angled noses is becoming somewhat of a pattern. Last year's Brawn reminded me of the Ferrari's anteater and it's projeny and this year is a continuation of the theme. I suspect that as far as performance goes, we all tend to give the nose way more attention than it deserves, but it's still a curiosity.
Does anyone think the car is not as long as other cars, namely McLaren and Ferrari !

The nose is bit Duck like but not clearly visible due to colour, so like a mix of RedBull and Brawn One... Side pods and under nose is of Brawn and upper part of the nose and the rear end of the chassis looks liek Red Bull. Curious (deadly) what they did to their diffuser.

BTW have all Formula One car so much rear wards looking rear suspension geometry? I am assuming that the it has Huge diffuser under neath so the lower wishbone mounting point was put ver ver much to the forwards... upper suspension mirrors the mounting point of lower wishbone... Am I correct?

Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder....
But I for one actually really like the look of this car, in fact possibly my favourite so far with the Williams a very close second.
Nice job with some innovative features...but still a little disappointed with the livery.... just seems to be missing that little something...and I also agree that the Mercedes branding on the engie cover almost looks like an afterthought of ... "Oh crap.... we forgot to put 'Mercedes' on the car anywhere!!"....

Interesting nose. Adopted the red bull style but kept the Brawn lower placement design, best of both worlds I suppose? And the wings at the nose on each side following the black paint (not the cameras) are interesting as well. Rear packaging looks really tight.

I thought the Sauber looked ugly and IMO McLaren looks great but that's also because of their great livery. I'm not so much a fan of the shape of those cars. I prefer Mercedes and Ferrari by far. By the look, I mean.

great looking car,

The air intake is sick

, i love it. To bad there is no pic to compare lenght with mclaren and ferrari
The low nose is certainly different to what we've seen so far and a continuation of Brawn's design last year. However, it is higher. The angle of attack of the nose, along with the dive planes are sure to create some downforce.
You can definitely see from the side on shot of the airbox how far the engine has been moved back.
The McLaren looks "great"

? Not!

well i judge by concepts, basically how developed they look, not the looks sorry.
To me the sauber and mclaren looks by far the most developed, with nice solutions. Ferrari, Mercedes and renault all disappoint. Ok the mercedes feat. about the air intake is nice, will help the flow for the rearwing a lot im sure. But other then that. These last three just look very ordinary i think. BUT, i have no idea about their speed!.

Well, it should be good if they manage to get some speed from Red Bull. With Brawn on the pitwall and the reliability of the car, it's going to be a car that's hard to beat.

Roll hoop is basically a LMP style blade roll hoop with the air intake tacked on.
Looks nice. I particularly like the steering arm position. It's always nice to see a load of teams copy something and for the originator of the idea to ditch it :-)
