I have a copy of the 1967/68 Autocourse for sale, with dust jacket. This edition covers in detail Denny Hulme's championship winning 1967 season, as well as reviewing other forms of international motor sport from that year. The b/w and colour photography is excellent, as are the detailed Grand Prix lap charts. For information and reassurance, I'm a regular lurker and occasional poster on the TNF forum, I sell motor sport and other books on Amazon (winfield_books) and, occasionally, on ebay ( 1290johnw ); on both sites I have 100% positive feedback.
Here's a little more detail on the 1967 annual:
There is no inscription. Contents show careful use and are clean except for a minor scuff mark inside the back cover and a splash of blue, high on the closed page block. This is hardly noticeable on the affected pages when open.
Binding is good. Covers are good with only minor edge bumping and a couple of very small marks. The blue cloth cover has what appears to be an original surface crease low on the back. Spine is good; gold lettering is bright.
Unclipped dust jacket is complete, good with some minor flaws. There is minor edgewear, particularly along the top, light storage marking and a little light creasing. There is one, probably original, light four inch crease top front right. There are two noticeable tears, both of which could be easily mended: top front left (two inches), top front right (half inch). The paint splash referred to above has caught one inch of the leading edge of the front jacket cover flap. It is not visible on the front of the jacket at all.
The annual has a simple protective plastic film, added recently I believe and easily removable. There are no tape marks.
I'm selling this copy for £250, reduced from £275, plus £5 for UK postage. Please ask for postage elsewhere. ( I live between Nottingham and Grantham if anyone would like to inspect before buying). I can accept payment by Paypal and am happy to discuss other alternatives. Cheques are fine but I would need them to clear before posting.
I have some photos of the book, should anyone want to see any. I just need to work out how to attach them to / include them in an email in a suitable size..... If you have any questions, please ask, either on the forum or by pm. Thanks.
