Finally just watched it, and it was a good race this year, entertaining. Mortara's win is a little surprising, hope it gets his career back on track, as he just had quite a disappointing year in GP2.
Wasn't too big of a surprise to me. He was a contender for a win at Macau last year, too. He's definitely a talented guy. I still remember his drive in the wet at Pau in F3. It was something to behold.
GP2 is a strange series sometimes. You'll see certain drivers thrive in certain teams and falter in others. Luca Filippi was actually a strong contender at one point. But when he went to ART(I think?), he was struggling to get top 10 finishes. Lucas Di Grassi has also had more fortune at surprising teams. I think Mortara just needs to find his stride in the right team.
