Very close between HAM and the two Ferraris, who took too many points off eachother.
In the constructors - a Ferrari domination.
Something like the 86 season, with HAM being Prost and BUT Rosberg, and Ferrari = Williams.

This is really hard and I can't put them in order but I reckon the top five will be any combination of Hamilton, Alonso, Vettel, Massa and Rosberg.
WCC will either be McLaren or Ferrari. Which makes me sad as I'd love to see Red Bull get it but I just think the competition will be too tough in 2010.

Really?? I'm wondering why you think that? Wouldn't you think that Ferrari would be competitive again? And, what about about Mercedes and Red Bull?
BTW, I'm a Mclaren fan, but I have no idea exactly where they'll be next season. I'd expect they'll do better than next year and probably be in the top four teams. Other than that, no clue.

Ferrari are going to destroy their rivals. It´s going to be something like 2002 and 2004. I think it´s going to be a face to face between Alonso and Massa. Hamilton, Button, Vettel and Webber will pick up the scraps.
I am going to go out on a HUGE gamble and say that Rosberg will win it for Mercedes.

You have seen a Ferrari trend that has escaped us? Or a devoted optimist, clearly Ferrari runs through your veins. I thought it was disgraceful year by the Scuderia and breaking a contract with a WDC just a part of it. No revival apparent at the tail end of 09 my dear chap but I am way South!
The thread IMO needs an antidote to the vigorous waving of red and yellow flags in the stand so I will attempt the impossible - a realistic guess with minimal involvement of Maranello in the manipulation of results, despite Todt's best efforts......

In summary, a return to Mac's glory days of Hakkinen and Coulthard with sadly the main interest being who can sneak a win over a dominant Hamilton each weekend. Mercedes engines prove to be the one to have despite some feisty performances by SebVet. Renault return to some form with determined efforts of Kubica and the rest fly under the radar.

As long as Mercedes, Mclaren, Ferrari and Red Bull are all close - id be happy enough.
Ferrari should really produce a winner having spent so long on the new car - so they could dominate but their management leaves alot to be desired. Current form indicates Mclaren and Lewis will be the ones to beat.
But who can disregard Brawn and Newey. Im sure they'll have something up their sleaves.

Other Predictions:
- No British Grand Prix, but Donington finally secures funding and gets the race in 2011
- Despite winning the championship, Massa is ousted from Ferrari for Sebastian Vettel. The world press lashes against Ferrari.
- Shanghai, Istanbul and Malaysia all drop out of hosting a GP after 2010.
- With Casino backing, Las Vegas gets a race in 2011, the first Night to Dawn Race. Fans moan at pointless gimmick.
- Bernie Ecclestone says something so unforgiving, the CVC call for his dismissal. His replacement is just as greedy.
- Valencia will be boring... again.
- Ford buys USF1, marking the first American manufacturer team.
- Prodrive buys remains of Renault F1 for 2011 season.
- Toro Rosso is sold after being horribly uncompetitive.
- Todt becomes a surprisingly neutral FIA president.

I think exactly the same about McLaren. They were third in the WC championships thaks to Massa´s accident. Otherwise, even with an inferior car (Ferrari stopped the F60´s development in june) Ferrari and Kimi would have been ahead of McLaren and Hamilton.
On the other hand, you shoud not telling me anything about my Ferrari passion, specially when you are exactly like me (but supporting McLaren).
An objective observer would say both you and me, we are ridiculous. The main difference is that I´m happy of being passionate and extremely optimist abour Ferrari´s chances for the next season. But looking at your prediction, you seem to me nothing but a joker (or a little dumb guy).
Please, look Ferrari´s historical statisctics and tell me what are the reasons why do you expect 2010 will be the worst Ferrari season since 1980.
As I said before: joker or dumb (this is the only explanation to me)
Aren't we a bit early since some of the top teams are not announced yet? And maybe some smaler ones can surprise us.
So really, can't say until I know who drives for Mercedez. A former WDC maybe

You from Germany mate?
This year will be the year for Nico Rosberg to prove himself, because at the moment Sebastian Vettel is a class ahead of him and Nico Hulkenberg has arrived!
Plus team mate battles, Jenson must porve himself against Lewis, Felipe must prove himself against Fernando and Mark must prove himself against Sebastian.
