so raikkonen was scared of facing alonso in a mclaren and ran to face MS in a ferrari?? do u see any sense exuding out of that?

raikkonen's deal was done before alonso signed that mclaren deal.the robertsons were in contact with todt way before schumi presumably decided on retiring.

theres one thing that even the most blatant of bashers would admit ...and that is raikkonen doesnt really give any thoughts to who's driving alongside him.

And neither did I say that. You can be pissed without being scared, you know. Anyway, if you have any issues with that claim go and talk to Monty, not me wave.gif

In fact Alonso and Räikönne has been my dream team for some years in F1, but with every year it looks more unlikley that it will ever come true. I tend to think there would have been a chance for next year, if not for Massa's misfortunes which made him effectively untouchable. Who knows.

Latest reports MS to Mercedes Grand Prix. Did Jenson run from Schumacher!?!? Does this means his balls have shrunk back to mortal levels?

did not dare to say it, but if indeed this will be true, and he knew about it, I take back everything I said about his conduct. MS+RB? Not a good omen except for Nico.

Are Mercedes running a 3 car team? Haven't they already got Rosberg?

It's simple - Button gave the team several million pounds and won them both championships. They responded by saying "We've arrived, we don't value you any more" - so he left, and quite right too.

The best of the best will pit themselves against any other driver Senna/Prost, Lauda/Prost, Prost/Mansell, Moss/Fangio, Hill/Clark; and now Hamilton/Button - The only ones not prepared to measure themselves against the best have been Alonso and Schumacher, both wanted to play with loaded dice; Schumacher got his way, Alonso threw his rattle out of the pram and shat on his team - Brilliant driver, crap man.......................

They already have Rosberg, if Button had signed then there would be no room for another driver unless a 3rd car is allowed. Therefore Button could not run from Schumi.

Button really can't lose in this adventure. If he beats Lewis, he'll be hailed as a god. He if gets beaten by Lewis, he's already got his pre-prepared excuse-in-a-box ready that he had the increased disadvantage that it is "Lewis' environment".

Listen to the interviews by Button on his signing with McLaren and count how many times he mentions "the challenge of going up against Lewis in his environment". "In Lewis' environment". He mentions this easily over half a dozen separate occasions. You think it's coincidence? No, he's thought about it earlier and knows it will be a good fallback if he fails. If he wins, then he will look like a god "beating Lewis in his own team".

Two separate interviews, with different interviewers and notice how many times he mentions "Lewis in his environment". Interesting indeed!

confused.gif Read back I meant the scenario of button knowing about ms' arrival. and everybody is 100% sure about rosberg, but not one word has been said about him officially. not one. he could really be off to renault, although I doubt that myself.

As I said earlier, Jenson was "forced" out.

He was forced right in the arms of team Antony.

Schumacher take note..In order to be considered a true great you want to have at least beaten one WDC or another top caliber driver in your career.. Button is trying to do this.. good luck, he is going to need it..

...eh what?

Haha bit more complicated than that you must admit.

Schumacher was hardly team principle at Ferrari, he was no 1 at Ferrari as Lewis is at McLaren big deal. As for FA it was clear the falling out came from those in charge more than anything else. Is it my tern to post wild assumptions?
