RTL-News reported today, that Mercedes will announce their 2. driver before Christmas, and it will be Schumi.

Bild is notable for being one of the most unreliable F1 sources there is. Equal/worse than Marca. I still remember them publishing some story a while back about Heidfeld getting into a fist-fight with Vettel or somebody. They're just crap.

Not saying what they're reporting isn't true, but I certainly need a more reliable publication to pick up on the story(one with their *own* sources) before I'm convinced.

This is good news.. I hope he really does well and manages fight for the title against Alonso/Massa/Lewis.. ..
However I do feel very sorry for Kubica.. - I think is about time that he gets to drive a winning car..

I know what bild is. But its about schumacher and as i said they got all the news about him since 06 retirement first and they were right.

They tend to sensationalize things, but I believe them on big announcements like this. They have contacts with Schumacher's camp (W.Weber) and also Mercedes.....

I think tomorrow there will be an official announcement following this.

Which 'BBC news' announced it?

There's been so many reports that the return announcement is forthcoming and I believe it will happen, but a story on Bild based on insider information is certainly not "official."

When one of the involved parties makes an "official" announcement, only then is it official.

Just be patient, people.

Schumi is one of my all time fave drivers despite his naughty moments, just hate the idea of him wrecking his reputation and at 41 and after 3 years out of the game damn good chance of that
