Greg lost his life in a tragic accident yesterday 16/01/2010..........A sad day for anyone that knew him.

To those who knew Greg Pretty, he was killed in an accident in the Adelaide hills yesterday.

Absolutely right, Rod. Helluva rider and like of lot of those Aust-based riders of that era, born 10 years too soon; would have been a winner in WSB. God speed, Greg.

Never to be forgotten this bloke........a champion in every sense of the word who was sadly laid to rest today.

As a youngster, in about 1979, I approached Greg for an autograph at Cadwell. Not only did he sign, he took the time to ask my name and write a short message in my book. He gained a young fan that day and I am very sorry to hear of his passing.

RIP Greg. You were a true gent.
