Shame nobody asked him about his Sportscar career - 1988 World Champion, and Le Mans winner.

Just came across Forumula 2 coverage from Marakech on Eurosport... in HD. Why oh why is F1 not in HD Bernie?
Bernie's head should be on a silver platter! It is very disgusting that it aint in HD, We have great bbc coverage with no ads, and not in HD though.

but meh I aint gonna get an ulcer over it though.

Now that Formula 2 is in HD, it reflects very badly on F1.

It's a bit of a non-event really. F1 moves to HD, everyone cries tears of joys for a weekend or two, then they go back to complaining about the lack of overtaking.
F2 isn't picking up audience share because it's in HD, that's for sure.

Well I'd rather listen to the Leg whilst watching F1 in HD than to not lol. I am frankly amazed coz in HD the sponsor decals will look even more fantastic on the cars. Heck we have been subjected to cameras that kill the sense of speed in F1 for ages now just for that reason anyway..

Jake Humphrey's just tweeted that DC will not be present this weekend as he's participating in the Mille Miglia. The BBC are a bit lenient on what their presenters can get up to don't they? What if this volcanic ash comes back and EJ is grounded once again?

Simples. They get Anthony Davidson or Brundle or Di Resta or Ted to fill in.

Agreed, he's definitely getting more features into his blog. I went off him for a while but recently he's been great.
Also :

Obviously just a simple mistake but can anyone imagine Eddie Irvine doing some pundity alongside EJ?

Personally I'd like him to stay where he is, he could become the biggest independent F1 source out here, more features like that Lotus one and James Allen is up there.

Another message for those of you still having problems with the live video coverage on the website: we're investigating the problem, but one theory is it could have something to do with very high levels of internet traffic following the UK general election having a detrimental effect on some internet service providers and their servers. If we find out any more, we'll let you know.

Thanks to the election, the quali coverage starts at 12.45 UK time, not 12.15. Think they mentioned some sort of big announcement at midday, which is the reason for it, or something like that, not sure. Looking again, it seems like from 12.15-12.45 it may be on the red button, then from 12.45, on BBC1 as normal.
