I ordered the Domenjoz Formula 1 Yearbook 2009-10 on Amazon well before xmas 2009. I keep getting messages from Amazon saying publication is delayed etc. With the new season about to start seems like its continued absence must mean this has ceased publication. Anyone know what has happened to this?. I have pretty much all of them and it would be a shame if it has folded

I telephoned Chaters about this last week and they said that it has ceased publication due to financial issues. I'm not clear if that is just the UK pulbishers though because the French edition is certainly available and, indeed, I have seen it.

Thats a shame but probably guessed as much. Seems a bit odd as F1 seems as popular as ever although I guess the yearbook market is a bit crowded and if you miss the xmas prezzy slot you're out of date and no one will buy. It started French only I believe so seems only fitting it ends that way

I wonder if this also applies to the sister publication Motorcycle Yearbook 2009, by Jean-Claude Schertenleib. Amazon is still listing this as available for pre-ordering, but I wonder if this means that the English language version is not going to emerge. That would be a shame - I see this as more of a companion to Motocourse than a duplication, because the yearbook includes European championship race results, as well as results from various domestic championship in several European countries plus the US. Motocourse does not cover those details, (apart from British results and US Superbikes) so it has filled a gap in the market.

Its a shame because I really loved this book. Seems like the Official one has taken its place
