I am going quietly barmy!

I have been trying to print myself some Thin Wall Special decals to go on a 32nd scale slot race car but for some reason my Durabrite ink is just not behaving itself. I am out of decent sized pieces of white decal paper so am having to print on clear, and then put a small strip of white decal underneath the dark green one which has the words on it. Being clear, the white shows through.

It should work o.k. It certainly did a few years ago when I made the decals for my Connew model but for reasons unexplained, the dark green is crazing and just won't remain as a solid block of colour.

I really wanted this to work as it will be one of the 75 or so slot cars I will be taking to the slot car meeting in Wolverhampton this Saturday.

Any ideas, anyone?

"Maybe he needs to run the ink jet cleaning application on his printer and also use more sealer on the decals once thoroughly dry."

Thanks, Vince. I have tried several 'remedies' but the result is the same every time. The crazing begins as the ink is drying, before lacquering starts, so I know it isn't a lacquer problem.

Anyway, as the car is going to be shown at a big slot meet this weekend, I eventually settled on one of my attempts, poor though it be:
