Unless it's not a joke

it's Senna, Prost, Mansell, Piquet
QUOTE (Dispenser89 @ Jul 26 2011, 16:01)

It's the Williams brigade in the second row: Damon Hill, Thierry Bousten, Jacques Villeneuve and Riccardo Patrese.
Was that Group B? I assume it was because there were only three options, in any case. That was wrong. Ta!
If you compare the driver prices to the current points ranking, there are some good bargains this week.

Yeah, that was group B.
Just made some changes. Hopefully, that will mean i can get closer to the top 10.

Yeah, Sutil would've been an even better choice, but i thought he would've been the more risky one. Oh well, i'm probably gonna update to Button anyway, he's severely undervalued after those disastrous last races.
New bonus questions is already up, btw. For 4.5m this time.

did ya?

Yep, i did. Worked out beautifully, didn't it.

Too bad i'm kinda out of options for next race now - can't really improve on my first driver unless we'd get a bonus question worth 6m or something like that. Maybe i'll sell Button right away, he's not going to win Spa anyway.

I have tried to answer without Google or any else help. I only mistake was at German GP, and that question was deemed to have been too difficult. Yet, at least Hungary was a guess.

This week's bonus question is very tricky...
For me it looks like an error, as Chandhok never raced in World Series by Renault?
E: Well no, it actually doen't make sense, as wiki states it's "2005 Formula Renault 3.5 Series"
but I believe it is being referred to as World Series by Renault.
It was Nissan before Renault. Won't be the first time the organisers have messed up the wording of a question.

just a quick question, is there enough interest for a F1 race manager 2012 competition?
See here for full details, game reset for 2012, should we restart with 'Atlas F1 2012' or something to allow the league list to be 'pruned' etc......

I think I'm going to give it a miss this year.
I don't have the tolerance to put up with months of ambiguous bonus questions and other quirks the game throws up.

Ambiguous bonus questions? Huh? Didn't have any problems with them.
Come on...let's do it...
I ran P1 for a few weeks, then bet heavy on Renault and Heidfeld and Lewis.
Ended up 19th or so.
I won't make that mistake again.
Anyway... Zauber is in!

Oh come on, you only have to look back through this thread for examples! The person in charge of the site is (I believe) from the Netherlands and it appeared as though he worded some of the question through Google Translate.

I failed to see the point in that as well. Giving out the answers like that, usually as a result of struggling to understand the question. We might as well consulted one another on our line ups!

I just know that i got all of them right last year. I do remember we had some clarifications in the shoutbox though and i think at one race the admin just gave everyone the 3m when people complained about the question. Come on, it wasn't THAT bad.

If you failed to see the point, it should have been clear to you when a member of another subleague explained that they freely exchange answers.
The point is to win the subleague.
See, it IS a team sport...
Surely the aim of the game is to beat each other to the top of the sub league? If that's not the case and it is league vs. league then we may as well discuss who and what to buy as well with regards to line ups?

ok seeing as Ultra (our OP and founder) hasn't been online here since December, i'm gonna open the floor to interested parties for a new subleague for 2012 - if we have more than (lets say) 12 entries by Midnight on Wednesday then i'll start a new subleague for the competition....if we don't get to 12 then we'll knock it on the head with thanks - all interested parties please post.

Hi

,
The only reasoned i'd suggested a new subleague was because there are several (probably a couple of dozen or more) in the current subleague list who aren't active on the board, so i felt it would give a more 'active' league but it's no biggy, our details are still in the OP for new members to join and, as you've already said here 'the more the merrier'
