I laughed....er I mean get well soon
Jamesy
Unfortunate to hear of such a rare occurance happening, but sounds like he's already well on the road to recovery. Get well soon Stirling!

And MinT-you better let us know next time you get injured.....
Piston Broke
Says something to his fitness that he survived with relatively minior injuries, and clearly an unimpaired sense of humour..

Hopefully, with Prof. Sid Watkins help and skills he will recover fully and speedily..... to the point where he can use the stairs and give the lift the flick.

Prayers and thoughts are with you Sir Stirling. You are a true legend. up.gif

Poor Stirling, get well soon.
PayasYouRace
I was shocked to read about what happened. More so that he suivived it at his age. The man is clearly indestructable. I hope he makes the best recovery possible at his age.

Oh dear, that sounds nasty for even a young person, never mind an 80 year old. frown.gif

Get well soon Sir Stirling! up.gif

My girlfriend, who is far south of 80, fell down a boat ramp two years ago and shattered one ankle. I can testify that these kinds injuries are devastating. She was in wheelchair for three months with pins and screws galore. Yet, Sir Sterling Moss will recover. Here's wishing him all the best! Get well. clap.gif

Stirling Moss is such a tough bastard, Keke Rosberg and Alan Jones must've gotten a few leafs off his book.

On a bright side, I'm glad he didn't suffer any further mishaps while insider the elevator shaft, like the lift descending and crushing him or something. This will change the way I enter and exit lifts for a good week or so.

Get well soon old man! I look forward to the headlines "Stirling Moss drives car for the first time after gnarly elevator accident."

What a survivor. Get well soon Sir Stirling.

Yep, great to see him feeling positive. Did he call his accident a "shunt"? smile.gif

Fall puts Sir Stirling Moss's £100k refurb on hold

Too bad he didn't have it refurbished sooner and he could have avoided the fall...
